Get ready for New Year’s Eve! Ft. Giorgio Armani Beauty

This post is sponsored by Giorgio Armani Beauty, a brand I love and hope you will too!

Christmas is over, which is sad… BUT it means New Year’s Eve and all its fun festivities is upon us! I love New Year’s Eve because it’s the one night you can really go all out with your look – I’m talking super glitzy dress, extra glam make-up and dazzling accessories to boot.

I’m spending this NYE in Cape Town with my family and this is a preview of my look… The dress is ASOS, earrings are River Island and the entire make-up look is Giorgio Armani. My usual make-up consists of a pinky/purple eye and nude lip, so I decided to change things up and go for something more smoky and glam. Here’s the lowdown…

I started off by applying the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation… This is the brand’s most iconic product and for very good reason – it’s a lightweight, liquid texture that creates a radiant, silky finish that is unrivalled, IMHO. I love a dewy, glowy look so this is one of my go-to foundations. I use shade 2.

For the eyes, I used the Christmas Palette. I used the grey shade in the crease, and added the grey shimmery shadow on the lid for a subtle, sparkly finish. I applied the highlight shade in the corners of the eye, on the brow bone and on my cheekbones (look at the glow!). I layered my lashes with (lots and lots of) Eyes To Kill Classico mascara for dramatic effect… Mascara is hands down my favourite product so I like to apply a lot. I finished off the eyes by creating my signature feline flick with the Eyes to Kill Proliner and used a gorgeous mauve shade in the Ectasy Shine lipstick.

A look at some of the products I used… Including the GORGEOUS Si Nacre Sparkling Limited Edition Eau de Parfum. I have had this perfume in my fragrance arsenal for some time so I was delighted to get my hands on the sparkly version – it’s the perfect addition to a dressing table, and the subtle sparkle means it doesn’t have to be confined to the festive period.

Now onto the fashion… The leopard print dress is from ASOS. It’s super flattering and hugs your curves in all the right places…

The seriously dazzling earrings are from River Island and they add some serious glam to the look!
