My summer sandal edit

I’m renowned by my family for going on holiday with an extra suitcase just for shoes. I find it particularly hard to narrow down my footwear anyway (I have a whole wardrobe at home solely dedicated to my boots), but I love having a vast array of choice when it comes to summer footwear. Flat sandals, heeled sandals, bejewelled sandals, furry sandals (especially furry sandals) – I love them all, so I was delighted to work with Dune London to showcase their SS17 sandal collection!

How gorgeous is this pair? I literally lived in these in Ibiza – I can’t resist anything with fur on and these are hands down the comfiest pair of sandals I’ve ever owned in my life… Benny got sick of seeing me in them, he was like: ‘Please change your sandals’. I used the stunning backdrop of the Mediterranean sea to show them off, with lots of Benny’s creative direction (he told me to add that in). It took a while to get this shot, but it was harder for him than for me because all I had to do was chill and drink my tea on a beautiful balcony!

In our hotel, we had a bath right up against the window, with stunning views out to the ocean. So naturally, I had to use it to shoot these blue and white tile-print beauties. They are so stunning – the colour palette reminds me of Santorini or Mykonos and they’re perfect paired with a pretty white sundress…

Or a navy dress! Back home, I teamed them with this number – they’re perfect for adding a statement edge to your look and I can’t tell you how many compliments they received when I wore them out!

These have to be the prettiest of the bunch. I’m in love with them – the beautiful bejewelled detailing and the cute studding around the back makes for a seriously gorgeous, glamorous shoe. They’re so comfy too – they slip on and off a treat and I reckon they’ll be coming with me on every foreseeable holiday.

Just, you know, casually posing on my doorstep…! I paired these with a long crochet summer dress, but they’re actually a pretty versatile too – they’re a great summer wardrobe addition.

Last but not least, these beaded beauties. They’re the ultimate statement heel and they glammed up my nighttime outfits for heading out in Ibiza. They would also work with cropped, frayed hem jeans for a night out in the city or with culottes for extra cool-girl points.

I recently attended a wedding (anyone else in the throes of about a million weddings?! I’m so skint!!) and finished off my hot pink suit with them… There is hot pink in the multicoloured, beaded heel so it went perfectly.

Until next time, guys! x

I worked with Dune London for this post, a brand I love and hope you will too!
