You can’t beat a good summer sandal. They can make or break a holiday outfit and look so chic with a white cotton sundress. I recently did a shoe clearout and counted 26 pairs of sandals. That might not sound like a great deal, but when you live in London and rent for even the tiniest of flats is astronomical, you just don’t have room for 26 pairs of sandals. So I threw out (/gave to my sisters) 15 pairs… Which means I’m entirely within my right to add a couple more in, right?!
Introducing these strappy beauties from Hush Puppies. They are made from soft suede and a leather lining, and are seriously comfortable…
The cats won’t leave me alone long enough to shoot so they feature in almost every photo here, just FYI.
Back to the sandals! They have soft memory foam so the comfort is customised and you can tell – they’re so nice to wear. I chose them in black and light taupe to style up a few different summer looks. The black are great for teaming with frayed hem jeans and a strappy camisole, while the taupe goes well with a white sundress.
They’re from the Icon58 collection, which got its name from the year the iconic brand was established: 1958. The collection is about the brand embracing the qualities it’s known for – they’ve been making comfortable, classically stylish shoes for almost 60 years and this range embodies those qualities.
I worked with Hush Puppies on this post – it’s a brand I love and hope you do too!
